Animal Reiki

Animal Reiki

With Animal Reiki Healing I work along side your Veterinarian as a complementary therapy; as are other therapies such as Acupuncture and Chiropractic treatments for animals.

I do not diagnose your animal – that is for your Veterinarian to do.

Quite often animals are brought to me when owners feel that conventional therapy is not enough by itself. One example is when a 14year old terrier that had an eye ulcer was referred to me.

After lengthy treatment the owner’s Vet recommended that the dog’s eye could not be saved and that the eye should be sewn shut.

The owner wasn’t happy at the idea and enlisted me to help use Reiki to heal the eye.

After about 4 treatments the eye had healed beautifully.

This beautiful girl was rescued from a puppy farm.

She had been shut up for so long in a small cage that when the owner 1st had her the dog couldn’t walk properly – could only crawl on her belly. She was very traumatized and shut down on all levels. Thanks to wonderful TLC and patience by the owner and long distance Reiki treatments from myself; she is a pretty happy normal dog now.

This is the most rewarding work that I do – to see animals come back from the brink.

I also work with many animals like this in animal shelters too – all of the work I do in animal shelters is charity work.

Reiki is therapeutic for all animals with physical ailments; as well as anxiety and behaviour issues. Have a chat to Amanda about your animals healing and health needs.

Amanda generally does the Animal Reiki via home house visits or Long Distance healing.

I find that the animals respond much better when in their own environment.

Amanda quite often has a stall doing Animal Reiki at selected outdoor markets, so people can bring their fur-kid down to try out a mini session.

One lovely Dachshund who came to visit at the Henley Beach markets had severe separation anxiety – when her mum was at work. She had a 15min session at the markets – I wasn’t sure how much it had helped as markets can be rather noisy at times, but her owner rang me 2 days later to say she was a lot calmer.  I started doing Long Distance Healing sessions on Molly and her owner was able to leave her for 2 hours after the 1st session without her crying, howling or barking. After each Reiki session Molly was able to be left longer and longer until 7 hours was achieved (monitored by spy camera).

Another lovely boy who visited at the Willunga markets was diagnosed with bone cancer in his back legs. His owner asked me to commence Long Distance Reiki sessions after the market visit.  After 6 weeks of a weekly treatment he was doing really well and he and his owner moved back to NSW – Vets were baffled at how he recovered.

I visited the owner and dog a year later in NSW and he was still doing well at that time.

ABC news filmed Amanda doing Reiki on Wakefield – so named because he was rescued when he fell onto Wakefield road when his mum gave birth to him on a shipping truck. Rescued by Fairview Lodge.
